Who is Delaney?

You’re probably wondering what’s going on behind the screen over here if you found yourself on this page. Well I’m just a 25 year old girl trying to turn my daydreams into a reality. Blogging, marketing, photography, and creative collaborations are just some of the things I’ve been working on relentlessly. I’m now a full-time content creator and blogger and have loved every minute of it. With over 3 years of marketing hands-on experience, specifically in social media and content creation, I feel fully prepared to grow my business further with this website. I started this blog about 6 years ago and it’s been so humbling seeing how far I have come. I really appreciate the time you’ve taken to come to this page and for supporting me as an entrepreneur.

Other than that, I spend a lot of time hanging out with my friends. I’m so grateful for the people in my life and simply strive to enjoy every minute of life with those I love. Some things I like to do with my friends are attend music festivals, smoke j’s watching the sunset, and adventure to new cities (taking lots of photos of course.)

My hometown is Seattle, WA. Fun fact: I actually graduated college with a double major in finance and accounting. My first job was in the cannabis industry (software for weed!) And, I recently became a certified yoga instructor. Yoga is the science of the self and I found that experience really fueled my drive to write the FHV Online Course.

My passion truly is photography. I love capturing every moment and scene and absorbing the emotional nature into a memory. I love finding inspiration in light, color, and people. My second love has to be graphic design and I’ve become quite the Abode Photoshop nut. All my online course graphics are designed by me and authentic af.Β

Why Blog?

I started this blog as a way to connect with others and to encourage them to be their best selves. All blog posts have the core purpose of enhancing the lives of others, whether that be in mental wellness, physical wellness, personal confidence, or gaining new skills and inspiration. I think that everyone has their own unique way of touching the world and that the more we each dabble in that uniqueness, the more confident we become.

I really leverage my personal passions in my posts and truly do care about how that resonates with my readers. Please leave comments and feedback for me to make your experience even better! I want to know and appreciate the heck outta you being here!

What's Weed With Del?

YES, I actually have a portion of my blog dedicated to cannabis education, information, and product reviews. Since I started my career in the industry, I found that due to marketing restrictions, it’s really hard to find reliable information. I dedicated a portion of my blog to openly discuss cannabis and CBD use as well as give honest, genuine reviews that people can trust.Β

How it started: In December of 2018, I sat with co-workers at the champagne bar at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. It had been a long day at the largest cannabis conference in the world, MJ Bizcon. As I sat and networked with other professionals, something quite strange and completely incredible happened. All these people in suits and ties, while drinking champagne, started to pull out edibles and share them with the individuals around them. Yes, edibles (from a legal dispensary of course). This was when I knew, as someone who never had been a drug user or a “stoner”, that there was value in this industry that was not being shown to the large majority of the population. From then on, at my job and at home, I felt a new purpose of my eduction in the industry. It became a passion.

It was extremely fascinating being in such a fresh, explosive, and completely taboo industry that was impacting people all over the world. So anyway, I just have to share. Let me know what kind of questions you have by commenting on any of my recent posts.

What Else?

You tell me! My hope is to build a strong community of individuals who aspire to be the best versions of themself. I can’t wait to have you as a part of that group!

Lot of love!
